Privacy Policy

Auto Email Extractor — Last updated:

This policy describes how the Auto Email Extractor browser extension (“Extension”) handles information. By using the Extension, you agree to this policy.

1. Summary

The Extension can scan visible web page content for email addresses only when you enable monitoring in the side panel. Detected addresses are stored locally in a single list on your device. The distributed package described here does not send your collected list to the publisher’s servers.

2. Data stored locally

This data is kept in Chrome’s local storage under your profile until you clear it, clear the list in the Extension, or uninstall.

3. How the Extension uses permissions

The Extension does not use the tabs permission; UI updates use local storage, runtime messages, and page visibility in the side panel.

4. Remote servers

The core feature works without a publisher-controlled backend. If a future version adds cloud sync or accounts, this page will be updated and the Extension listing will describe what is sent and why.

5. Lawful use

Email addresses may be personal data. You must collect and use them only where permitted by law and by each website’s terms. No spam, harassment, or unauthorized harvesting.

6. Children

The Extension is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction).

7. Changes

We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date will change. Continued use means you accept the updated policy.
